Announcing Mollie Bodin, MICHS Co-Program Manager
The MISHC Coordinating Center welcomes Mollie Bodin, MA, as its new program manager. Mollie joined MISHC from 8 years in the University of Michigan Medical School Office of Research where she led strategic and organizational initiatives across numerous units within and beyond the Medical School. She worked to resolve complex issues, build bridges, and transform culture.
Mollie was a founding member of the Clinical Trials Support Office, the key office within the Medical School’s $30 million Clinical Trials Transformation strategic initiative.
“MISHC is at this amazing intersection of collaboration, strategy, and innovation – I am excited to join the team and impact this space of transformative change,” said Mollie.
Mollie was drawn to MISHC by its passionate team and finds its collective vision to improve patient outcomes empowering. She looks forward to further expanding MISHC’s efforts in health equity.
“Mollie’s previous work in the fields of history, law, and medicine positions her well as a leader in continuing MISHC’s mission of improving quality of care and outcomes for Michigan cardiovascular patients,” said BMC2 Program Director, Dr. Hitinder Gurm.
Mollie holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and English from Lawrence University. She earned an MA in history from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. “Following the themes of the women warriors I studied, my career has been a circuitous route of curiosity & innovative opportunity,” Mollie said. “I’ve always been drawn to innovation that makes the world a better place and MISHC has proven success that aligns with this core value.”
