Stanley J. Chetcuti, M.D. is a Professor of Internal Medicine and the Eric J. Topol Collegiate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine. He serves as Director of Cardiac Catheterization, the medical director of the Structural Heart Service at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center, and one of the co-directors of MISHC. He has been instrumental in building numerous multidisciplinary teams in the field of coronary revascularization, aortic valve disease, mitral valve disease, and circulatory support.  His main interest continues to be complex and high-risk coronary intervention, the percutaneous treatment of valvular heart disease, and percutaneous circulatory support for patients with advanced congestive heart failure. He has been involved in numerous clinical trials that have become landmark publications in the field and continues to lead numerous clinical trials at his institution. He continues to have a special interest in the mitral tricuspid space and is currently involved in many major clinical trials that involve edge-to-edge repair, and the percutaneous replacement of the mitral and tricuspid valves.
