Melissa Clark, MSN, RN, is the program manager for the Michigan Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons (MSTCVS) Quality Collaborative, a role she began in 2024. She joined MSTCVS in 2017 and was the Quality Initiatives Coordinator until 2023. A registered nurse since 1999, Melissa has extensive clinical experience in cardiothoracic surgery intensive care. She has worked with the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) national databases and the STS/ACC Transcatheter Valve Therapy Registry, focusing on data management and quality improvement. Melissa has served on the STS Taskforce on Quality Initiatives since 2018. She earned her master’s degree in nursing informatics in 2015.
